Rissoles !!

Throw the ground beef in a bowl, add an egg, finely chopped onion, a pinch of mixed herbs ( or whatever herb you really like ), a dash of worcestershire sauce or teriyaki marinade, salt, pepper, some crushed garlic ( if you like ). mix it all together to a mushy mess, divide into as many portions as you want ( big rissoles will need cooking a bit longer ). Take each rissole and roll it in seasoned flour ( salt pepper or chili powder ) put the rissole ( you should flatten it a little .......to about 1 inch thick ) in a hot fry pan and cook until under is crunchy, turn over and do the same, remove from pan ( Keep them warm/hot ) add a little of the left over seasoned flour to the pan and stir until bubbly, add sufficient beef stock to the pan to make a gravy ,,,,keep stirring until it boils and thickens ..... pour the gravy over the rissoles ...... serve with mashed potato and whatever veggies you like.

The absolute easiest thing to make is Spaghetti Bolognese.
Fry some chopped onions with garlic & (olive) oil. Add the mince and brown. If you have some dried herbs such as Oregano & Basil, add them. Add a jar of commercial tomato sauce. Stir through, then simmer for at least 30 minutes (but can be as long as you like). Pour over cooked Spaghetti and top with fresh or dried Parmesan cheese ( if you have it ). Yum

One thing I like to make is what I have come to call "Road-Kill Stew"....Basically cook the meat, and add whatever you want from the pantry and seasons rack

It tastes WAY better than it sounds.

Start with anywhere from between 1 to 2 lbs. of ground beef [your choice on how lean it is]
-Brown it in a large-ish pot
add some sauces [I personally think soy sauce+BBQ sauce are great]
Veggies!
-2 or 3 different types; such as corn, green peas, and green beans [again, whatever you choose to add]
spices and seasonings
-what- and how- ever much you wish to add. [Again, I suggest garlic salt, some lemon pepper, and......Whatever else I find...]

Let it heat up to a simmer, and add some beef broth or beef stock to make it more stew like, or a can of chile.

Great tasting.

Chili con carne... just throw the beef, some tinned tomatos and some kidney beans in a saucepan as well as some onion if you want and cook it!

2 parts breadcrums in milk
2 parts tomatopure,
1 part ketchup
and some Orgegano (dried of fresh)

mix together, mix it through the ground beef (4pts)
roll them into balls or flatten them into burgers and bake them. (burgers will cook faster)

Just experiment with mince, it's one of those things you can do almost anything with!

I like to fry it up with some onion and bacon, add loads of cut mushrooms and some beefstock to cover. Cook for about 20 min or until mince is cooked and tender. Add some worcestershire sauce if you got some. Thicken with some cornflour.

variations:
Add some sour cream for mince stroganoff.
add some cream for creamy mushroom mince
add chopped or tinned tomatoes and italian herbs
for italian mince.
Add peas and carrots for shephards pie
add minced garlic if you like or anything else that
takes your fancy! (red wine, fresh or frozen vege pack)
