At first I came on kind of strong and it spooked her and there were some hard feelings exchanged. I apologized to her for making her feel uncomfortable. Everything is finally ok between us, we have a strong friendship and growing stronger. Now what I want to know is, how can I tell if it will ever be anything more? I want it to be but she just doesn't see me that way. Please any info you have would be very helpful.

so your question is not really about a friend, it's more like for someone who wants things to be friendlier, who can blame you.
We often fall for the close friends who understand us and just click so well that you just want something like that for a relationship.
No matter how perfect they ,might seem, they don't usually work, cose normally the girl wouldn't want to ruin the friendship, and even if they do work when they end(which is very possible) the friendship does end and then you might regret it.
So I suggest you don't try too hard let it be just a friendship, if it was meant to be, you will become a couple.
And as far as I know, when a guy stops coming on at a girl, then the girl will start considering a relationship.
So just lay of, progress will come soon.
Good Luck

damn that hurts doesnt it man, same thing is happenin to me, i dont think i will ever be more than friends with htis girl. so i suggest just being friends with her and moving on.
usually you can tell when it will be anything more cos she will be the one making the move cos she knows that you wont be making anymore.
good luck mate

well, I would suggest talking to her. ask her if there is ever a chance of the relationship being more than it is.

but, from the way it sounds, you've already got your answer... if you already know that she isn't interested in being more than just friends, than I would back off. don't freak her out.

Don't push urself on her if she only wants to be friends respect that. i think it would be much better to have her as ur friend forever as opposed to dating her breaking up and not having any type of relationship t all.
