He probably had to cut you because you are like most women and are always talking. Therefore if he wants to talk he needs to interupt. Or maybe your babbling on about something not important as usual and he needs to change the subject before he blows his brains out.

Maybe before you start telling him a story or some thing important you need to tell him to please just listen and then when you are finished if he has any thing to add then he can do so. You shouldn't have to tell him that but he obviously he's not seeing how rude it is when he interrupts you.
He must not have been taught that it is polite to wait and let the person finish first. Ask him to please try and wait until you finish and then you can listen to his story. Give him a chance to try and become a better listener. You may have to give him a little help to learn how to become a better listener. Hey if that's his only fault your doing pretty good, consider your self lucky!
Also when he does a good job of listening to you let him know how happy it makes you that he is trying to do better. It makes people feel good when they are praised for doing good things, it will encourage him to continue to respect you when your talking.
Good luck to you, I've been there and done that with some one I know, it's frustrating.

I'm sorry, to me that is a total lack of respect. It sends me the message that he doesn't really care what you are saying and he thinks the only thing that is important is what he is saying and you should just shut up and let him talk when he feels like it. Yeah, not a good thing. I would tell him that it is not interacting with you, it's disrespecting you. If he can't accept that and gets hostile about it, I would seriously think about your relationship and whether or not he's the right one to be with. You have valid thoughts and feelings and he is not respecting them. Best of luck!

I would seriously talk to him about it.
tell him that you don't appreciate that he does that, and if he tries the "its what people do thing" you can tell him, that its not what people do, usually people are polite enough to wait until someone is done talking before interacting...

you need to remind him that not letting you finish is sppoiling the conversation and he that conversations are based on talking and LISTENING, and taking turns
