Christianity is actually a growing religion. Maybe you are referring to the fact that other religions are growing faster. This increase of other religions is not based on conversions from one to another... It is solely based on the increasing population within these religions. Basically, the birth rate. The honest truth is, most people are born into the religion that they are and will stay with it the rest of their life.

Could it be because they have accepted that some of the prophesies spoken of in the BIble have come to fruition?
Like the coming of the Comforter etc.
Or it could be that the other people in the churches people go to are full of hatred and judging them thereby forcing them out???

If one has been born a christian, he is not a true christian, but one need to be born-again, ie has to know God personally.
I believed God, but there were many occasions when the world looked of more fun and entertainment, but by the grace of God, God has reveled that He alone is our creator.
I feel God's presence and I know He is there for sure. Jesus is the way to God. So read what Jesus says and take it to heart. Talk to God and let Him know all you want to tell Him, when you search for Him truly you'l find.

Deception. The world influences them to seek other gods, or to pursue a life of immorality. Many later see the deception and return to Christ, as they should.

Those that leave were never really converted (ie, born again, saved, etc) in the first place. Once you know God, you can never say you don't.

Everyone has its own rights and decision. When they feel more comfortable and compatible with the religion they accept, so let them.

Why do people leave christianity? Because they see their lives and their world slowly deteriorate around them and they lose their faith, become angry with god and countless other similar reasons
