There are shuttles and taxi's that will take you from Chico to Sac, but they are far from free as the first poster stated. The largest shuttle in the area is the "Blue Van" or Super Shuttle. The best taxi service in the area is Yellow Cab. The shuttle will probably be the less expensive way to go, but you should call both to ask for the price. Don't ask your hotel to call a taxi for you because the taxi drivers tip the front desk people and often pass that charge onto you. Here is a link for the shuttle:

The Yuba /Sutter transit system provides really low cost transit service to Sacramento from Chico with easy connections to the airport from Downtown on Yolobus. The total cost is less than $5 each way!
