im good friends with this girl at school and we talk alot. and when we do talk we both smile and look at each other. every time i see her she waves at me and smiles. i would ask her out but like im afraid that she'll never talk to me again if she dont like me back. so wat i want to know is how do i find out if she likes me wit out sending my other friends to do the work for me. and how would i ask her out.

Dude, just ask her! It sounds like she certainly does like you too! It is normal to be anxious because it means so much to you! How would you feel if somebody beat you to it and she said yes to him because she figured you didn't like her like that because you never asked! That and never knowing what might have been would feel way worse than her saying no (which by your description of things sounds really unlikely). There are going to do be tons of things in life that are going to be uncomfortable but necessary to do, so you better start getting some experience now. This will be a huge confidence builder for you. Even is she says no, you will be a better man for having the balls to ask her and let me tell you from experience, ladies like a confident man and that means you will attract more girls and it will be easier the next time. Just to be safe, don't ask her in front of a ton of people and be really nonchalant about it, like "Hey, doesn't x look like a cool movie". She says, yes, you say, we should check it out, you say cool, maybe Saturday. She'll either jump at the chance or be really non-committal. You'll know by her body language as well as words and tone if she is into it. If not, don't bring it up again. If yes, follow thru later with the day and time. If no, her loss and your gain from the experience! You can do it and you will be so glad you did! Good luck!

Think of it this way: do you wanna sit on your porch 20 yrs from now thinking what great fun you two COULD'VE enjoyed if only you had the fortitude to actually get out there and make something happen?
You know what....GET OUT THERE!! Don't let your fear imprison you, keeping you from something you feel you deserve, something you really want. The next time you see her, you look her directly in the eye and say, "I can't help but notice you've been flirting with me a lot lately. You keep this up and I'll have to report this to your homeroom teacher." Or you can change "homeroom teacher" to "principal." But do it with a slight grin on your face as to let her know you're joking. Then say something like, "The only way I'm not reporting you is if you come out _______ with me!" But I, myself, never like asking...I'm more assertive. And if you wanna stand out from the rest of the guys chasing her, you should as well. You walk up and tell her, "Hey, we're going out this Friday. So you be ready at (this time)."
JUST DO IT, MAN!!!! And don't rely on your friends to do it for you, because 1) they can completely convey the wrong message and totally destroy your chances, or 2) THEY will be the ones going out with her because they've shown compassion toward you - a quality ladies look for in a mate. Do you really want this to happen? Didn't think so. Make it happen then.

i'm gonna have to go back to the basics on this one, man up dude, grow a pair, and ask her out, whats the worst thing that will happen, she will say no, then smile, turn to her friend and ask her out, keep on going down the line, you'll become a man in no time

Ask her out. Because if she ignores you from what you said, that's not even considered friendship. Ignoring you like that is just not what a good person does, she may feel uncomfortable around you IF she says no, but I don't beleive she'd stop talking to you. That's if she's a good person though.
And if she say's yes, CONGRATS!

girls like it when guy ask them out in person. besides even if she does say no she'll probably be happy that someone likes her. i think you should ask her out on a date but as friends first and see what she says and then decide what to do

dude, just do it... if you wait too long and you become close friends and then your only hope is you'll get married... What do you have to loose? If she is REALLY a friend then you liking her isn't going to stop her from being your friend, it will just be something you find funny in a year or so...

approach her and ask her out yourself. explain to her that you like her more than friends. what she'll do is either turn you down or accept your proposal. try it. at least you will know the answer. it is better to know that to be kept wondering.

Just hang out with her more and see what happens..... this is the safest way!. I will tell u right now, you will just begin dating without ever mentioning it, if the mood is right.

I don't think you should ask her out untill you're absolutely sure. Maybe she just likes you as a friend.
