If she's "the one", go for it. At the very least it will be a good test for your future.

I dont know how old you are so it is going to be hard to answer this question. Hope you are over 18. So here goes. Many years ago, lets say in the 50's, it was unheard of. If a guy and guy lived together everyone talked about it and worse. Then came womans lib...and the generation of thinking differently about things. Now in todays world in my opinion it is always wise to live with the person you are going to spend the rest of your life with, even for a short time before you are married. People when dating are always on their best behavior...if you are together living , then eventually each of you relaxes and the true self comes through. I would definitely say, yes to the living together question. As far as waiting, well make sure your relationship is serious enough that the potential of getting married and having a future is a possibility before you do it.

First, before you move in together ask yourself if you are ready to take the step that comes after that?
It also has to do a lot with your state of maturity. for example, if you are just out of college is very different that if you are after divorce with kids where your needs are much more specific.
In short, generally it is rec commended to move in with your girlfriend so you can get to know each other on a "competitive turf", however, don't mix love, which is blind, with loyalty, trust, friendship and openness. If you know you have all this then yes, it may be a good idea.
Since you have mentioned "financially", let me tell you that the money you may save on rent now is nothing compared to the costs of a future break-up...

I think it will be productive and it gives you time to get to know more about your GF. like all your pet peeves about your living styles. she could be a completely lazy person and leave clothes all over the place, and then you are a clean freak. i waited about 3-4 months before i moved in with my GF and then lived with her another 7months, found out everything i needed to know about her and soon enough we ended up getting married, been married for 5 1/2 years now. i think that time i lived with her made the difference.

This is a tough one. 1st, how does the parents of each of you feel. You dont want to allienate the parents. 2nd, do you both feel ready. IT"S A BIG MOVE.! If things are going well, and you seem to be spending the night at eachothers house often, then it may be time. I did it. I had great fears of marriage and needed to know that I could live with my now wife. Last, be ready. There are things that you will find out about your girlfriend and her about you that is unknown. "do you fart in your sleep", "does she bite her toenails at night", who knows but be ready. Good luck.

In this day and age, it is common to live with your girlfriend. There are many benefits. You might feel uneasy at first, that's normal, change is good. What does your heart want? Nothing is final. If she feels that she is not wanted, she should leave.

I think it's fine to live with your girlfriend. It allows you to spend more time with each other which is beneficial. That also allows you to find out if you two can stand living together.
