two 4 ohm speakers in parallel = 2 ohms

parallel is when you take both positive wires and hook them together and the 2 negative wires together that will drop your ohm load down so two 4 ohm speakers in parallel will give you 2 ohms the lower the ohms the more power you get from the amp

series is connecting one positive to the other speakers negative that will double the ohms which means less power
