When To Go:

Weatherwise, October, November and most of December are the best months to visit Hong Kong; the skies are clear and the sun shines. The June to August heat/rain combo might push your endurance but there's a lot of sunshine and, after all, it's summer. Hotels tend to offer substantial discounts outside the high seasons of March-April and October-November. Travel can be difficult during Chinese New Year in late January/early February.

Places to see:
1.) Hong Kong Museum of Art
Tsim Sha Tsui
Sino-Lithos
2,) Hong Kong Museum of History
Tsim Sha Tsui
Exhibitionism
3.) Hong Kong Science Museum
Tsim Sha Tsui
Touching Science
4.) Hong Kong Space Museum
Tsim Sha Tsui
Loads Of Space
5.) Jardine House
Central
Hole in The Sky
6.) Kowloon Walled City Park
Kowloon City
A New Lease
7.) Man Mo Temple
Sheung Wan
Chairs of the Gods
8.) Miu Fat Monastery
Tuen Mun
9.) Ocean Park
Aberdeen
Free Wèilì
10.) Victoria Peak
The Peak
Honkers Highpoint

Lucky guy, I just came back last week, only want to go back...how long do you have? the above answer is pretty complete and you would catch all the major attractions which are all really great, but if you only have a few days, just don't waste too much time, take a city tour for a couple of hours to catch the major spots, then just spend the rest of the time walking around Nathan road and the markets along the way, from around Salisbury road to Boundary to the North, then in the evening, find a nice place to eat and head either to the Peak or take a star ferry to see the HK skyline at night. Best thing to see and do in HK is to hang around and watch people. After you get your luggage from the airport, stop by the kiosk just before the exit and ask the agent for some free tourist brochures, maps, etc. They can also direct you to the shuttle bus to go to Kowloon or HK island, or anywhere else for that matter, and show you on the map where to get off if you already know where you will stay.

There are too much to go and see.

Just in Tsim Sha Tsui (TST), you may just walk along the Star Ferry Pier, the Ocean Terminal or along the Harbour pedestrian walkway to enjoy the nice views of Victoria Harbour and the HK Island, take a boat cruise or just a very cheap cost ferry if you want to enjoy more, day and night views are both spectacular. Shopping would be luxurious yet enjoyable in Ocean Terminal, Harbour City or Ocean Centre (they're adjoining ) or just at bargain prices in Granville Road with factory outlet clothing and cosmetics. Kowloon Park is a popular place for the locals. If you're a museum goer, the HK Space Museum(http://hk.space.museum) and the adjoining HK Museum of Art(http://www.lcsd.gov.hk/CE/Museum/Arts/english/intro/eintro.html ; the HK Science Museum(http://hk.science.museum/) and the adjoining HK Museum of History (http://www.lcsd.gov.hk/CE/Museum/History/en/ex_permanent.php) are all good places to visit ( the Museum of History is an excellent place to know more about HK).

You can't say that you've been to HK without visiting The Peak in HK Island. Take the tram up to the Peak, and enjoy the world famous stunning views especially at night, I'm sure you won't be disappointed (don't go on a foggy day).

Besides, the Repulse Bay, Ocean Park and the Disneyland are also attractive.

However, beware of pickpocket in the crowded area, it's crowded with people everywhere.

One last thing: the weather is very warm in March. around 20 something (degree Celsius), take a long sleeved with you is good enough.

Good luck to your trip

It will be around 15-18 degree on Thursday..

Lamma Island
You can hike there and the seafood in Lamma Island is very famous. Also, there are many Hong Kong traditional food to buy.

Lantau Island
You can go there by taking the "NgongPing360", which is a new cable car in HK. In Ngong Ping, it's look like a old HK, so I really recommend you to go there. Beside this, you can also went there to see the Giant Buddha and Po Lin Monastery.

If you want to more information, I think you should check out the website of HK tourism board. It's many information for shopping and for sightseeing.
