i am attracted to a guy, i've known him about 9mths as aquaintances. I'd like to know if he likes me coz i feel like im over analysing how he reacts to me. Its hard to sum up but some of the clues i have:
he always waves and lets the wave linger as he drives by me.
he smiles at me when i see him.
he has shortened my name.
he laughs at the dumb funny things ive said
he seems to look directly at me and listens to everything i say.
but
he also is nearly always the one to end the conversation and have to rush off - more so if his mates are around.
he is a geniune nice guy.
he always has his arms folded when we talk
it always stays on polite conversation, never flirty - just nice.
If he likes me would he be flirting more or am i not giving him the signals he needs, i know i'm keeping my guard up too - but gee i've sure tried to let it down! I know i dont make enough eye contact, i stay well out of his personal space, i keep it polite and nice and super friendly and dont say how i feel.

girl you like him, and he likes you. now what you need to do is to make sure you are the only one he likes :P
tell him you like him to make sure he knows roflmao.
i am going through the same thing with a friend of mine (a girl) and she told me that she doesnt want a bf atm so i havent made a move on her, so we're just friends. i do all those things that your saying and i sure like her, which means he likes you too. :P
if you start to be more open he will be more open as well, so open up. what have you got to lose, he is a nice guy anyway.

Stop over-analysing this situation. If you like the guy, just be yourself and enjoy the time you spend together. Dont keep making mental lists like you question above. If you dont want to tell him how you feel, because he may not feel the same way and freak out, thats fine. But you have to be willing to let things happen naturally, and guys are impatient. If he really wants you as more than a friend, he will let you know sooner or later.
