I'm not an expert on colds or anything, but blowing your nose gets rid of the stuff in your nose. Your nose will replenish more if you are sick no matter how many times you blow your nose. A cold is really in your system, think about how white blood cells fight the virus or whatever you have. That is all in your body, not just the nose. You have to kill the cold itself at the cellular level.

Not really no. I just know that when I begin to blow my nose more, and it comes out easier, my cold is getting better. But it'll still take however long to go away.

If it drips down your throught it can fuel a very nasty sore throught, and if things get backed up you can get a sinus infection. I don't know if it will make the cold go away faster, but it will help keep you out of the doctor's office.

I don't think so but I thought I'd recommend that you get that kleenex for colds- it has lotion in it, it's a lot softer, otherwise you are going to get a real sore nose and it will start hurting; it never did with that kleenex.

When it's very full, yes it helps, but you should not do it very often as it exhausts and excites the nose, and your condition will last more. Youre nose needs rest, and not to be blown very often.

For me- yes.

The clearer my nose is the healthier I am- its kinda of a general rule for me.

Nose clean = feeling better

Nope! try to exercise or sauna...anything that will make you sweats. That will help you get rid of colds.

I don't think it helps, but it doesn't hurt because it helps prevent postnasal drip (ickies dripping down your throat) and lets you keep breathing!

plenty of water! flushes your system, helping it get out quicker. (for me anyway)
