Chhatrapati shivaji was a great king of Maharashtra. He was a main obstacles to Moguls expanding their kingdom
He was a noble, brave and religious warrior. He fought with moguls but did not resort to cruelty towards muslims
When his army brought queen of muslim king, as a gift for him, He called her as Mother and returned her back with due respect to her family, unlike his enemies who kidnapped and raped enemy women
He was also spiritual and his guru Ramdas gave him true meaning of hinduism

Killing the Muslim army commander by fraud & deception. Shivaji Maharaj was a true & great Hindu. Hinduism fully reflected in him. He invited the opponent Army Commander for a peace and compromise talk. He offered him a talk in the absence of soldiers of both sides. While meeting, he exhibited his nature and stabbed him by fraud with a hidden knife, to bring his intestines out. That Commander died instantly, bonafidely trusting the Hindus innocently. The Hindus are otherwise much believeable and trustworthy.
