so iv been doin lunges and squats everyday and i can feel it in my legs but iv been doin them to tone my butt. so sence i only feel it workin on my legs dose that mean im not doin it right?

you have to feel burning in the muscles you are trying to work out.
try this - stand straight staring at the wall and hold on to it. lift one leg back with holding your foot paralel to the wall. keep your back straight all the time. do 15 reps with one leg and the same with other one. if you feel butning you are doing it wright.

Yup, you're not. Do your lunges long to work the gluteals. Short lunges work the thighs, long lunges work the butt. If you do them right you will definitely feel the burn.

If you go to a gym, they also usually have a kickback machine of some sort that works well for that area.

yes it does. if u re toning your butt u should do exercise that way u feel your butt. try to change position and the length of lounge and the deepth of squatting. do not squat too low.

You can't really see the difference in your body right away. Just try to make it your daily routine... I am sure you'll get a nice butt :P
