People who have answered your question who don't believe the prophecies of the Bible just know know very much about prophecy in the Bible. They need to attend a Prophecy Seminar or go to www.amazingfacts.org and do their Bible studies.

There is the 2300 day prophecy that started at the rebuilding of the Jerusalem during the reign of the Persian kings Cyrus and Darius around 457 BC and for-told using a 490 year prophecy the exact time of the Messiah's ministry and His death and the rejection of the gospel by the Jews and then the start of the investigative judgment in heaven in 1844.

Also you have the dream about the metal man in Daniel that prophesied about the current state of Europe and then the destruction of the earth and the second advent which has not yet happened.

Then you have the rise of the little horn power that exists today and what will happen to that power that has not yet happened. You have the rise of the United States in the lamb-like beast with two horns that later speaks like a dragon and causes all the world to worship the first beast. These last events remain to happen, but the little horn power was to suffer a deadly wound that was healed and that happened when Napoleon's general took the pope captive and then later the papacy was reestablished. Those events occurred at the end of the dark ages, so that has been in the last 300 years. The 1844 start of the judgment happen recently. The entire world is gradually starting to worship the papacy so that is coming true. Then you have the 7 last plagues and those are about the happen. The rise and fall of Greece as a world power and the rise and fall of pagan Rome as a world power were predicted accurately hundreds of years before they happened. The arrival of the Messiah and His death was predicted to the month over 600 years before it happened. Signs in the sun, moon and stars and the powers of the heavens shaken were all predicted in the Bible and they have happened in the last 100 years. The powers of the atom bomb that ended WWII probably was what was referred to as the heavens being shaken. The Sun turned dark in mid day in the 17 hundreds and the star fell and the moon turned blood red all in the 17 and 18 hundreds. I think it is very clear that Bible prophecy has been true in the both the distant and recent past and thereby we can depend on it being accurate about the future ahead of us. Jesus said the Gospel would be preached in all the world and then the end would come and the gospel has just entered the last countries so the end is expected with in the next 20 or 30 years.

They are not coming true dear. The things that are happening now have always happened. There have always been wars, always famine and pestilence, the earths has always had weather cycles, christians are not being persecuted they are the persecutors, there have always been earthquakes, False prophets well that is nothing new is it. Just look at the televangalist that have "fallen", The gospel preached throught the world well yes that is happening whether the people want it or not. Just like christians forced native american children to give up thier way of life and become "saved" through the cruelty of the religious, There is nothing new under the sun

Well....if I predicted that it was going to rain in North America sometime in the next 3 months would you consider me to be a woman speaking for God? Of course you wouldn't. 90% of these so called biblical prophecies are far too general to be taken seriously. Many of the predictions in the bible are co-opted versions taked from other religions. The bible is not new or original in any way. From creation to the virgin-birth and resurrection...even the end times were all written about thousands of years earlier by pagans in their mythologies. Study some real religious history and you will see how easy it is to KNOW the bible is a horrible fiction.

Well tommorow i predict that you will wake up do a bunch of stuff and then go back to sleep. If you leave it vague enough anything can be prophetic. The color of your coco puffs will be dark. That perfect someone is looking for you too. Your lucky color for today is green. Not to mention it matches your eyes... Having an open mind to a "prophecy" is sort of like saying oooohhhh oohhh Aaaahhhhh tomorrow there will be a cloud in the sky ooohhhh aahhhhh oohhhhh... Unless there is some dunder head what goes outside and finds some great meaning in the fact that they saw a cloud then it will be written out of history, or atleast never written into it to begin with...

There is nothing I need to explain. You are making an assumption you haven't proven, that "all the prophesies....are coming true every day"

Please name one or two.

Biblical prophesies are allegorical and vague and can be interpreted to mean many things....that technique also works for Nostradamus and your newspaper Horoscope. Christians throughout the ages thought the prophesies applied to them as well. Christians themselves don't agree on what the prophesies mean.

Fulfilled prophecies - prophecies coming true prove beyond the shadow of doubt that "God is not a man that he should lie nor a son of man that he should change his mind".

Like what?

Name one SO CALLED prophecy that people could say BEFORE it happened that this thing would happen?

Why is it there has NEVER been a so caled prophecy that people said was anything until AFTER THE FACT! What good is a prophecy if it can't prevent a tragedy?

ANYONE CAN MAKE UP ANY CRAP AFTER THE FACT!

Show me some that aren't predicted in other holy texts or that haven't been true for the past 2000 years.

Quick hint: none are left if you take out those.

The prophecies of Nostradamus have also come true. It is easy to say a prophecy is fulfilled when it is vague or something that's bound to happen.
