I have a bread machine and I always use the darkest setting. The bread initially comes out nice and crispy (like the kind of they have in Italian restaurants). How ever after a few hours or a day later etc., the crust is no longer crispy. How do I fix this? (I also live in Denver)

pop it in a hot oven before serving. the moisture in the air is going to get into the crust and make it less crispy, toast it up and dry it out a bit.
