If you right click the file you can't play in the library and click on "Error Details" it might tell you what codec you're missing, and if you're lucky, it will direct you to a site where you can download it. Sometimes it'll only tell you what codec you need without the site, and sometimes it won't tell you at all! When that happens, you can download a separate program that will tell you what codecs you need to play the file. I can't remember the name of it, but if this doesn't help I can try to dig up the name.
