English as a Foreign Language, French as a Foreign Language , the Piano, or Journalism?

Question

Which of the four above should I choose, how can I make a
decision ? I started with all four of them, and find them
equally interesting but I cannot do more than one, two at the
most ? How do I choose.

journalism is fun. English is a useful language to learn... but it seems like you have it down pretty well. piano is great too! I took french in high school... and haven't used it since then. Depends what country you live in and how often you travel.

My vote is to go for Journalism, since it's the most likely to land you a secure job in the future. Living abroad in an English speaking country for a year can improve your English as much as a language degree. Most pianists, except for a lucky few, end up playing pianos in hotel lobbies.

But you're the best judge of what's right for you...

I personally want to learn piano. Learning how to read music is like learning a new language. Definately not English, you already speak it.

I speak spanish and also would like to learn french. I would choose: piano and french. ( of coarse if you are preparing for a career, journalism would probably be the choice.)

Well the way I see it is this:

If you take English it will be useful for the rest of your life, it is a rather important language. Chances are that there will be some kind of journalism project in that class anyway. ^^ Sooo you could also take the piano..

I see it if you quit piano, later on you will regret it.
If you take English there is always something more you can learn.

so take those two!!!

Take Journalism and French.

Your English is already fairly good, and you can be sure to learn a lot even if you don't study at all, just use it at you leisure time on the internet, watching movies, listen to podcasts while commuting etc. These things take none of your time and are quite effortless.

French is a lot harder to learn outside a course as you hardly have a chance to use it.
