Many prayers at this website. I'm sure you'll find on that is to your liking.

O help me, Lord, this day to be
Thy own dear child and follow Thee;
And lead me, Savior, by Thy hand
Until I reach the heavenly land.
Amen.

I like the story of how a father had his son place a nail into their fence each time he did something, no matter small, he never that was wrong. Afterward, he told his son to remove each and every nail. He told his son that although the nails were now removed, they still left holes which made the fence looked aged. He told his son that each time he did something to bring sorrow to another, it was like he left a nail hole, and told he that he should ask for forgiveness for to all those whom he had left a little hole in their lives, and to say he was sorry. I liked that story a lot.

I've taught pre-school and elem and I think it would be best if you worked with your child and asked what she wanted to say, it should be kid words. Out of the mouth of babes ............. is so true. Simple and sweet.
