This weekend is my "really good friend's" birthday... (We say that we are going out, but we've never taken anything beyond just a simple boy-girl friendship (no kissing, etc.))
Anyways, for his present I was planning on giving him this gift that I made for him (it's kinda fragile and heavy) and I also really want to give him a kiss (like a real kiss, not on the cheek or anything) I don't want to just plant one on him out of complete surprise (since we've been going out for the past 4 months that could be quite a shocker) I want to make the kiss really memorable...
Are there any suggestions on how to make a quick and cute move?
He is about 6-7 inches taller than me so it's hard to kiss him without pulling him down to me.
We will most likely be in a parking lot (this sounds funny, but I seriously can't help our location)
ps- don't comment on our relationship (I know it is going a bit slower than usual) Trust me... we like eachother a lot, we just haven't "done anything"

It is great that you are taking it slow, and that is how the kiss should be. Get close to him, make sure that youe are both in contact with each other, look deeply into his eyes, and give him a long gentle kiss that says I am ready for the next step. Good Luck!

I don't' think it's going slow at all. You have a very intelligent guy friend, he wants to get to know you better. Have some respect for yourself and wait until he makes the first move. If not he will think your easy and he will have second thoughts. Give him his birthday gift and tell him how you feel about him and if he feels the same for you. Then take it from there. there is nothing bad about taking it slow, its good, you get to know each other better. when you are sitting in the car . all you have to do is move close to him and and tell him to close his eyes and then kiss him and then say happy birthday.
