I am in a relationship for about 6 years with a guy that is very sweet to me. But I am in love with my childhood friend who is funny, charming, witty and physically very cute. I went away with my bf to another country after being rejected by him. And in this other country, I met another guy (taking the same classes) that is real similar with my childhood friend with all the same attributes and even looks a like, just packaged in another race and has longer hair..but heck their facial features look alike. (creepy)

I find myself having a crush on that guy. And I feel bad for my boyfriend because I have all these repressed desire for my childhood friend and this type of guy....what should I do when inside I am not satisfied in my current relationship?

everybody has their own childhood crushes..but i really think that you should stay with your bf since you said that he is sweet and treats you right. you wouldn't know what is it like to be with this guy...he might look very kind or anything but you dont really know him as a person. just because he really look like someone you used to like, doesnt mean you have to be with him...think about it carefully...you wouldnt want to lose what you have with your bf right now for something that you dont know how it'll end...good luck!!!

you ask your current boy friend to change atleast to the minimum desired attributes which are possible to and are acceptable without mentioning and at the same time ensuring that you wont hurt him and that you are looking for those attributes which are of your childhood friend's attributes(since no guy like's to do this at all what so ever when if they come to know about it). this way you can be more satified with your current relatoinship than your childhood relationship and also that you are gaining here some thing more which are missing in your childhood friend. after all since 6years you are with him and you might also liked some things in the current guy too and that must have been one of the major reason why you are attached with him for such a long period...
caution= make it as light casual un noticable point though stress on it making it specific since it is a very delicate issue and should be handled very carefully.

Never stay in a relationship that you are not happy with, it will only hurt both of you. As for the other guy, you see in him your old friend, don't be fooled, no too people are the same.

It's not really fair to either of you if you're keeping false pretenses. If you're really unsatisfied, why waste both of your time? You can find someone who means more to you and he could find someone who would appreciate him more.

If you're not satisfied in your current relationship, then why are you in it?

If you are not satisfied with your relationship, then why are you still in it?
