The biggest thing is to be aware that your mental state depends 100% on "what you tell yourself." We all "talk to ourselves" in our minds constantly. Most of us are only vaguely aware that we are doing this, if at all! Step one: Be aware of your thoughts. Then you can change them if they are not serving you.
"Your thoughts create your reality. Choose them wisely."
You attract what you emanate.
When I start finding myself thinking negatively, I repeat to myself a few times, "Your thoughts create your reality," to remind myself...
We often cannot control our situations, but we can always control our thoughts, what we say to ourselves...
Every difficult situation is put in your life for a purpose: to teach you something. Always look for the lesson.
