I would definitely advise against this! Hytrin is taken for high blood pressure (though can also be taken for prostate and bladder issues). Stopping it suddenly could cause your blood pressure to rise to extremely dangerous levels. This could result in:
dizziness
fainting
chest pain
stroke
heart attack
heart failure

Please see your doctor for a proper weaning schedule if you wish to stop taking this medication. If you are being treated for high blood pressure, you will need a different medication. High blood pressure is a silent killer and, just because you feel well, it does not mean your blood pressure is normal. If you were taking it for a prostate or bladder issue, you will still need to be weaned to avoid a rapid increase in blood pressure as a result of stopping the drug.
