I would say neither one. Pioneer and Ken wood both make good mids and highs but I don't like there subs. I would go with eather JL, Memphis, Kicker, Audioban, MTX, American Bass, or Rockford any of them would be good. But that is just my opinion.

In my opinion go with Alpine Type-R or X or a JL W6v2. Alpine Type-R 12, R.M.S. 500w, peak 1500w. Type-X 12, R.M.S. 1000w, peak 3000w. great sound from both. Jl W6v2 12, R.M.S. 300, cant find peak right now. Thay are the best subs on the market for great sound. I am now running 2 Type-R's now and sound great and hit nice.
