if you have a permit, is there some sort of form "permission slip" that you may get to drive solo to and from a certain location with just your permit?

No you will have to get your license. I didn't get mine until I was 23 and I never got pulled over all the years I drove without it.

No with a permit. There IS some sort of license that you can obtain that allows to you drive to and from certain locations solo... but you have to prove a undoubtable need to do so (such as you have a disabled parent who has no one else to care for them, and you have to do the shopping and such). If you're in a situation like this, call the DMV and ask them what is available to you. If you're not in this situation, follow all laws and just wait until you can drive legally. Everyone else your age has to do it, and it will happen faster than you know it.

No, you need a DL for that, otherwise you need to drive with someone that is 25 years or older with a valid DL
