How do you know the rapture won't happen? Even if you die before it does, it will still happen.

I am a Christian, who believes in a pretribulation rapture of the church.......Right now, the world has still not yet ended and the rapture has still not occured, this however has not changed my views on the issue.
It's amazing to me though the things that are occuring in the world right now, that were prophesized by Jesus........so what will you do when the rapture does occur and you are faced with the great tribulation? My suggestion for when that happens is that you quickly find a KJV Bible and read the book of Revelations so that you'll be prepared for what is going to happen. Then if I were you, I'd get down on my knees and cry out to Jesus for forgiveness.
Have a great day!

Well, when would that be? There has been no end of the world and no rapture for 2000 years, and it has not put any end to Christianity. Just how much time would it take before you think they'd give up? My opinion is that Christianity will continue on, continuing to metamorphosize as it has done for 2000 years. It may become influenced more and more by doctrines of pluralism and tolerance, and so we may see gradual shifts in focus or changes in the religion over the years. But it will not end. Just change. That's my opinion.

I'm not sure if this question is designed to provoke a bitter response, but i don't think anyone is in a position to be arrogant enough to say what will and will not happen in the future. I believe i am open minded and respect religions and live in the hope that people will stop saying what is and isn't in the world. have a nice day!

Last time somebody predicted the rapture and it didn't happen, (after his followers had sold everything and gathered on a hilltop) the people just forgot about the prophet of the end times and took a more conservative line of Christianity.

Of course not the world will end someday but not with a rapture. But you can bet these die hard Christians will still be here to the end.

As a Christian, I will always believe that a rapture will happen, and if it does not occur in my lifetime, I shall die waiting for it. A mere lack of patience will not deter my beliefs.

No matter what, I will follow. He has helped me to much. To do anything else but to give him the praise He deserves is my option.

What you do with your life is your choice. I choose to follow God and His teachings. I will sleep well at night knowing I've lead a great life, a life committed to Him.

What will you do when Christ returns? Especially when you're not ready and have denied Him.
