if life - either microbial or something slightly more advanced - were found on another planet or moon in our solar system?

Ent: so, God would posit microbial life on another planet for no particular reason. Wow! The special pleading of Christians! It is an amazing thing to see!

I believe in a blend of both. To put it in simple terms God created all life and guided it through evolution. Adam and Eve were the first of the apes to be self aware and have the ability to determine right from wrong. ANYONE READING THIS AGREE OR DISAGREE?

Nope! Since I believe God created the Heaven AND the Earth then he created whatever might be found in His Universe

Nope, why should it?

Hey B - it's funny that you first ask about abortion and then ask about life on other planets. You remember the Martian rover? What would the headlines have read if that cute little robot had flipped over a rock and *gasp* there in the rock was the one million year old fossilized remnants of a single-celled organism?

LIFE found on Mars!!

And yet an organism that has unique like a fingerprint brain wave patterns, an organism that has a heart beat, an organism that can SMILE in the womb isn't alive. Yeah, right.

No.

Although I think that is unlikely that we will, I don't see how it could affect my world view. It would create a deeper dilemma for the evolutionary hypothesis. Of course we have seen how the evolutionary thinking is so amorphous that it can be used to "explain" anything.
