Did time go by quick enough for you or did you get caught driving suspended?

My boyfriend's is suspended for 2 years, as far as I know, and it's been a year. It was taken away for various violations, the failure to pay the fines on them, and getting caught driving suspended once or twice.

It's agonizing, for him, but the experience would be much worse if we didn't live in a city. We take the bus and the subway a lot.

It's important to note, though, under certain conditions you can get Occupational Limited License, or a mock-up license for you to drive to and from work. Just go to your state's DMV site. It's 50$ to apply in PA, but if you have a job you need to drive to and your license is gone for a significant time period, it could be life saving.

Plus, if you get pulled over, the cops won't necessarily know what your work hours are, or in any situation, you could say you're on your way home. So you get some of your freedom back, and if you're smooth enough not to get caught, all of it. ;)

Lost mine for a year, nine years ago, never found a need for another vehicle nor have I missed it.
The $1200 a year in Insurance and the +-$4000 a year in payments is money in the bank.
Buses go everywhere, and Bicycles still work fine.
I have seen people get Revoked for Life, I wasn't that bad, but still have no NEED to drive.

I had mine stolen while on vacation. It took awhile for the dmv to replace it. Glad I had my license number memorized. Think it was about 3-6 months.
