I am a Navy vet and am proud to say that I served in both Operation Enduring freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom, however I feel that this war is going no where fast. I no longer feel it is necessary to continue pouring money, time and other efforts in to a lose lose battle. How many more young, under protected, and under trained, over worked, over fatigued service members are we willing to sacrifice to this cause? They need to come home and be mommies, daddies, brothers, sisters, son, and daughters. Don't they have the right to live? Or are we sacrificing them so that we can give others who don't even care a better life? Come on. Who do we really care about? Them or our young service members? Bring home our troops.

I don't think that vetoing the supplemental budget request is going to bring about an end to the Iraq war. It will hurt the troops that are over there right now, though, because it's basically cutting off funding for them.

You should take pride in anything you do or are are part of, if your not proud of it , then why participate? As a military veteran you have served the people of this country to give them the right to participate in events like this. As a military veteran myself, I served so those who wish to express their opinion can. Even if it is not one I can agree with.

This answer will variety for the place you reside, yet while its interior the united kingdom then i think of my suggestion would be solid. militia is a sturdy decision for a protracted term everlasting pastime, say 22 years until you attain retirement, yet you could desire to look in strengthen to once you get out. in case you serve your finished volume of time then you definately gets out around your 40's, leaving you wanting a activity with in simple terms hassle-unfastened skills which to procure from college. Going to college first helps you to connect as an officer in case you get the suitable grades and delivers you an benefit once you get out. while you're American and with the help of faculty you mean what i could call college, then nonetheless i think of you could desire to bypass first, you additionally can get the army or whoever to pay so you might bypass and serve with them afterwards. Going to college first appears like the suitable decision, this way you will get helpful skills, you could think of approximately your occupation for an prolonged volume of time and you may even connect as an officer, and if all else fails you will nonetheless be turning out to be a member of the militia. whether, that's fullyyt as much as you and you on my own what you do, yet i think of faculty is a sturdy option to make first.

You should be proud of yourself no matter what.....because you would not be the person or persons you are because of what you did. Never let anyone change your past...you did it...take it for what it is worth. You may not realize yourself yet..one day you will. That's like saying a nurse don't want to see blood, is she a bad nurse....NO...nobody wants to see blood....

If you want to sure, whatever, but remember it will not "facilitate" the end of the war, it will decrease the amount of protection that these soldiers have over there. I wonder what war you were in, because if you were in Vietnam you would not be doing this and I will tell you why.
When coming back from Vietnam vets were spit on, called names, and overly treated badly.
How would you have liked it if you were over getting shot at, having friends die around you and back home vets were saying this war is illegal and YOUR friends have died for nothing, kinda crappy isn't it.
But again free country, go and sit in and enjoy it, but don't expect the soldiers over there to thank you.

You are a loser and a defeatist I doubt if you have served in the military and have forgotten the war was voted for by both the House and Senate
Have you noticed how many of those leopards are now trying to cover their spots?
How many accepted faulty intelligence and now call it lies.
They are hypocrites are you one of them?

It's a VOLUNTEER! military....the people who are in the military joined because they WANTED! to.Why can't you see that? Why have a military with all these people(who want to be there)and not use it.We practice, we train,LET US GO and use IT! If I want to feel bad..I will...If I want to feel good I will...
You want to sit here all day and ask stupid questions that will never amount to anything. You should go into politics...
I hope you live a long boring life......
