im trying to adopt a healthier lifestyle.. this includes changing what foods i eat. i told myself that from now on, im going to cook my own food.
recently, safeway came out with outrageous deals.. my dad is obsessed with safeway! AND he's obsessed with the deals! so, over the past 3 days he has been stocking up our feezers! we have 3! 2 free standing freezers and on attatched to our fridge!
NOW i CANT cook my own food! i HAVE to eat the safeway frozen foods! i feel that the devil has put this road block in my way to screw with my plans! or could it be god? im trying to get a little healthier for the navy... could god not want me to join? did HE make safeway come out with the super deals?
what should i do?! it'll take me .. probably 2 months just to finish all the crap my dad bought this week! and we still have safeway products in the freezers from a year ago!

Follow the money trail: Safeway is eventually owned by RCC, which seems big on obsession, evil concupiscence of priests.
You should take more thought about the spiritual food you eat; For from your short story it sounds like you got yourself into this mess, with your legalism about what to eat; not to mention your desire to join the navy isn't about peace, but about division. Doesn't Bible say mark and avoid them who cause divisions.

The navy is a very unhealthy live style, the working conditions, the food and the people. God allows the devil to operate and god cares less than zero about your health. Get a job and move out before your father poisons you.

I had to laugh at your dad. I'm this way myself. I once filled an upright freezer with free chicken tenders (free after coupons). There was so much chicken that we couldn't eat it all and I had to give a ton of it away.
God isn't a god of temptation and fear. Are you able to have some separate foods for healthier meals? They don't have to cost a lot. Canned, water-packed tuna, veggies, fruits, and so on.
Hang in there. You can do it!

I personally think it sounds like one of the devils tricks. To discourage you so that you will give up. I think even though some of the foods may not be as healthy as you would like, you can still limit yourself on what you eat, drink lots of water, and exercise.
I think if it was God that didn't want you to join, He would have let you know in a much different way! :) Hope this helps

It could be the devil and it could be a test. I don't believe god would want you to do something unhealthy to your body. Ask God for guidance and what direction to go and how you can still eat healthy with what you have. Ask God if its the devil and if it's the devil, rebuke him. Rebuke him anyway from interfering with your diet plan. God does care.
