i had 4- 12' mtx's runin off 1 pioneer 800w amp at 1 point and it pumped em exremly well.. unless ur lookin to spend big money

those speakers are dual voice coil but you didnt say if they were the 2ohm or 4ohm models but both models are 800 watts rms.so if you have the 4's and you wire them in parallel thats 1 ohm on 1 channel (mono block amp)Lanzar,Power Acoustik,and Hifonics make a 1ohm stable amp that are reasonably priced.somewhere in the 1600 watt rms range is what you want or you can go for a 2 ch amp that is 2 ohm stable in stereo 800 watts per ch in 2 ohm checkout caraudiodeals.com for amps
