For several weeks, my nipples have been itching. Both nipples itch, but left one does more than the right one. I have been scratching them so much so that I have grazed the skin and it has formed a crust. When itching starts, there doesn't seem to be a way to stop it. What could be causing it, and what can I do to stop it? Appreciate your answers.

The weather plays a huge part in our dry skin. It's important to keep your skin hydrated. There are some other factors as well. Lotions and moisturizers that contain mineral oil, the molecular structure of which is too large to penetrate the pores of our skin, sit on the top layer like saran wrap. These lotions get wiped off over time and have little benefit. You might want to try Arbonne as their products are water based. Their moisturizers will deeply condition and hydrate your skin and likely help your dryness. I would be happy to send you a free sample if you're open to giving it a try. If this conditions persists, you might consider seeing a physician.
