the carpal tunnel is the small passageway on your wrist that contains the tendons of your fingers.
carpal tunnel syndrome (often shortened to carpal tunnel) is an inflammation of the ligaments which puts pressure on the tendons causing pain when the hand is used.
it can come about as a result of repetitive motion such as regular typing, working an espresso bar or really anything that requires repeated, similar movement of the hands and wrist.
oftentimes carpal tunnel syndrome can stem from improper posture of the shoulder which radiates down the arm, affecting the wrists.

I have had it and it hurts like H@@@ and you drop things because your fingers go numb. I thought I had but my doctor in TX told me I didd not have it , but when I went in for testing the proper way here in NC They said I did and It's pain in your hand and wrist and goes up into yur arm. You lose control of your hand and I had the surgery and they almost cut my nerve because it was growing in the opposite direction. After the surgery I had to go to therapy for about three months and I still don't have the strength that I had but it doesn't hurt anymore and I can pick up things and not drop them and break bowls or dishes

Yes it is an amazing song but it is also a disorder that you can develop from resting your wrists on the ends of the keyboard, but you can also get it other ways.It is where your fingers go numb and your wrists hurt.
