why do they allow honor killings, female circumcisions, slavery, suicide bombings, toture, beheadings, comunal rape, and why is converting to another religion an act punishable by death? Please don't give me the same old answer of "oh i'm wrong and its really a peacfull religion" i have a koran so please tell me where i can read that this stuff is wrong. I don't have that book about mohammad's life though and i know a lot of it comes from that.

No. thanks, I believe it's quite similar to Christianity. They both preach the Creator and love. I can understand the New Testament, but hard to understand the Old Testament. Anyway, Islam will confuse me for sure, but I think, the important thing in our life it TO DO (TO LOVE), not TO READ (TO PREACH), hence, no matter what religion you believe in, we still have a common language. As a result, I am no longer interested in reading religious books anymore, although I was, when I was younger.

Woody, what translation of the Quran do you have? My Quran mentions none of those, nor have I ever met a muslim that thinks those are ok. Those are cultural things that have nothing to do with Islam.
