they don't look at details in a situation before they make their judgement. they just judge right away. this is from what i grew up around and see when i get around them.

i told this lady that she lied to me and when i gave her examples she lied even more. when i finally gave her more examples she basically went back on what she said and then told me that i should stop complaining. she told me she was going to pay me this rate yet she dropped it down.

I think it stems from how their questions about religion were answered as children, they were not encouraged to question and not taught to reason and it shows at some rather inopportune moments.

Basically there are so many christian groups that there is a need for differentiation. Thus from the start, certain core values specific to the group would be instilled in the Christian such that it forms the foundation of their outlook on the outside world. I am a Christian and I find certain practices, e.g. pointing fingers at how other religions are wrong is totally unacceptable. To me the essence of a good religion is its tolerance of other religions.

You have " judged " all Christians` in your question ? There is a big difference between " judging " , and " not agreeing " with someone . If you are dealing with a True Christian in a discussion , and if the subject is not accurate according to scripture , that`s not judging , that`s standing on our Biblical principles . If you see things in a worldly vision , then respect the Christian seeing things with a vision of a Higher Authority than the world .

Here's a quote from my latest blog I posted on my 360 page:
People who have really met the Holy are always humble. It's the people who don't know who usually pretend that they do. People who've had any genuine spiritual experience always know they don't know. They are utterly humbled before mystery. They are in awe before the abyss of it all, in wonder at eternity and depth, and a Love, which is incomprehensible to the mind. It is a litmus test for authentic God experience, and is -- quite sadly -- absent from much of our religious conversation today. My belief and comfort is in the depths of Mystery, which should be the very task of religion.

Unfortunately, a lot of christians come across as very close minded because they're not true christians. A lot of people call themselves christian, but are they?

Most of humanity does that, That just shows Christians are human. also many who claim to be Christian don't know anything about how to be a Christian, so in reality they just wear a cross and go to church once a month/year/decade/lifetime, making them more agnostics who have delusions of being a part of Christendom.

No offense, but that seems awfully judgemental of you. There are good and bad people in every group. There are judgemental Sikhs, athiests, Buddhists, Jews, or any other group, just as there are good and decent ones in every group too.

Strange isn't it? I guess that they are afraid of people thinking that if they change thier minds it will make them look like fools. Some don't want to be kicked out of thier little societies.

Do you have any examples? Because I don't know what you mean (although it could just be because my mind is too closed to comprehend your question!) Seriously, you aren't maybe overgeneralizing a little teeny bit?
