Sure there are Muslims who choose not to get involved in terrorism but I will bet you that every Muslim knows 10 or 15 who are.

Islam needs extensive revision. I read the Quran and i don't see it really practiced among the muslims around me.
Answering ur question, I know that islam doesn't allow muslims to attack anybody, but allows self-defense. In addition it doesn't promote turning the other cheek to someone who slaps you as christ does. Concerning the ideology of terrorists, i found that it is entirely based on Hadith NOT quran. Many muslims I know seem to reject the validity of Hadith and hence deduce that terrorists follow their twisted understanding of something which very likely is un-islamic.
Finally, i think each muslim knowing 15 terrorists is not possible statically( unless u count those we see on TV). But i believe that muslims, like all people, can be brain washed into doing anything.

"every muslim knows 10 or 15 who are" ???? LOL, sorry, but I don't know a single one. Last time I checked, most ofthem were either in Afghanistan, Iraq, or northern Pakistan. I don't know a single one in the USA, or even in Pakistan. My two children are muslim, too. So you're saying that at headstart, my 3 year old daughter knows other three year olds screaming "allaho akbar" and chopping people's heads off? Dude, did you take your meds today? Well let's see. Suicide bombers, terrorist, 9-11, Pentagon, Osma, Hussein, Afghanistan, Iran, etc. Doesn't seem very peaceful to me.
