how do you care for your hair?? do you flat iron it? blowdry it? what is your water like? do you have color on it? do you have curly or straight? you can try a cholesterol treatment on it, you can buy it at Sally's beauty apply to shampooed hair after you towel dry it, leave on for 10-20 min with shower cap or you can have your stylist apply it and put you under a dryer with medium heat for 20 min. it should help. you can try a leave in conditioner also. soory I cant give more help without looking at it and asking you some questions. Good Luck!!!

Your hair stylist should have told you what you could do to help your dry hair. She should be giving you deep conditioning treatments and recommending hair care products that will help you out.
But since she didn't, try Neutrogena Intensive Hair conditioning treatment. It comes in a tube and works very well. You should also use a shampoo and conditioner made especially for dry, frizzy hair.
If you are a person that looks at QVC, I have been using a product on my hair called WEN by Chaz Dean. (Just type that into the QVC search, it will come up). Its a cleansing conditioner that doesn't have all of the drying ingredients that regular shampoo has. I was very skeptical, but knew I could send it back if I didnt like it. I have been using it on my hair for a couple of weeks now and my hair looks awesome. I perm my hair, as well as color and highlight, so I triple process my hair and it has never looked so good. Just a thought and not an endorsement.

This hair looks like unwashed straw. It grows thicker nearer the scalp and thins out towards the ends, thus causing split ends. Atmospheric pollution too tends to have a drying effect on the hair. Such hair needs extra care. The is nothing as nourishing as a warm oil massage. Take half a cup of coconut oil. Crush 4 almonds and add to oil. Steam this mixture by placing it inside a pan. Apply while still warm, deep into the scalp and into the roots of your hair. Cover your head with a towel and leave it on for half an hour. Shampoo your hair. For more details see

If your hair is that dry, you definitely shouldn't wash it every day.
If you must wash it daily, use shampoo and conditioner one day and the next day just wet it and condition it. Make sure to use quality products. Try Nexxus Therapy shampoo and Nexxus Humectress conditioner. They are a little on the pricey side but are very good products for dry hair. Your hair will feel nurished and moistrized. Also I would reccomend that you use a leave in conditioner to keep you hair hydrated. You should also go to the salon every three weeks for a professional moisturizing treatment ,until you hair is in better condition.

Use leave in conditioners and maybe a light hair lotion, my favorites are by Sun Silk and Pantene. Do weekly hot oil treatments... there are a lot of natural and easy to find moisturizers, olive oil, almond oil, honey, blackstrap molasses...even mayonnaise, not Miracle Whip, but like Hellman's original...
