Why does it bother you? Dinosaurs are completely consistent with the teaching of scripture, and we have physical evidence of their existence.

The Bible teaches that the land animals were created at the same time that man was (on day six of creation). The Bible teaches that man lived at the same time as all created creatures, including dinosaurs. The book of Job refers to creatures living in the land, whose descriptions most Christians believe can only be applied to dinosaurs.

Furthermore, contrary to evolutionary teaching, there is evidence from oral traditions around the world, evidence from art from antiquity, evidence within geological formations, and evidence from historical written record that dinosaurs and man coexisted.

Not sure where the problem is with dinosaurs......In Genesis, in the creation story, God creates living creatures on day 6. This would INCLUDE dinosaurs. Though the Bible does not use the word "dinosaur" because this word wasn't coined until the 1800's....it does use terms such as monster (Psalm 74:13), dragon (Rev. 12:3) and behemoth (Job 40:15-19).
There is also no problem with dinosaurs being on the ark either.....the Bible says that Noah brought 2 of all animals (7 pair of the clean, 1 pair of unclean) onto the ark. This would of course include dinosaurs. The size of the dinosaurs isn't a problem either. The measurements of the ark were enormous! It would have been around 437 feet long, 73 feet wide and 44 feet high. The group of animals mentioned to be brought to the ark were the same group of land animals mentioned in Genesis chapter 1. It is true that some skeletons of dinosaurs that have been discovered are huge. For example, scientists estimate that the T. Rex grew up to 20 feet tall and 50 feet long and weighed 10 tons. One of the largest dinosaurs is estimated to have weighed 55 tons, with a height of 52 feet and a length of 82 feet. But the average size of a dinosaur, after considering the skeletons found around the world, is that of a small pony or sheep. Only a few of the dinosaurs grew very large, and even they were once small!! Dinosaurs hatched out of eggs, and the largest dinosaur egg found is about the size of a football. So a baby T Rex would probably have been small enough to sit on your shoulder!
One of the reasons suggested as to why some dinosaurs were large is because they may have been very old. Scientists have observed that many reptiles seem to keep growing well after they have reached the age they can reproduce. The animals that were to be saved on the Ark were going to re-populate the Earth after the Flood. God probably sent "young" dinosaurs on the Ark, NOT "fully grown adults".
Some people also argue that there would have been too many dinosaurs on the Ark. Although scientists have made up over 600 names of dinosaurs, there were probably less than 50 actual KINDS of dinosaurs. Many of the names are just given to a piece of bone or a skeleton that looks like another dinosaur but it's a different size or it's found in a different country.
There is NOTHING in the Bible that indicates that dinosaurs died out before the flood. It's obvious then that there were 2 of every kind of dinosaur on the ark, which means there were probably around 100 dinosaurs at most on the Ark.

Obviously dinosaur existed. What is your question?

The word dinosaur doesn't appear in the Bible. It was invented in the 19th Century. There is a description of an animal called behemoth, which sounds quite similar to a dinosaur. Several hundred years ago, before the existence of dinosaurs became known, Bible scholars tried to determine what a behemoth was.

Where do you think the fossils came from? They had to have been buried very rapidly. Otherwise, they would have decomposed long before they could fossilize. As for the long periods, I don't believe that dinosaurs became extinct 65 million years ago. I don't think that a fossil could last a million years. It would break down chemically long before that.

They are mentioned in several books of the Bible. Most notably in Job 40 and 41 when God has a long conversation with Job reminding him of the mighty creations of God. The modern word dinosaur is not used becaused Job is the oldest book of the Bible written 3 to 4,000 years ago. The word dinosaur was created in the 1800's. If you read this two chapters it is apparent that God is talking about what we refer to today as dinosaurs.

I could explain it all out, you could go through my questions and see about 5 times I've explained it out to others. But this time I'll let you watch, so you can see for yourself.

Get on YouTube or Google Videos and put in Kent Hovind. He has a 7 part series, each is like 2 hrs long. He goes over many things from the age of earth to dinosaurs, etc. Explains it real common terms, not preaching. He use to be a school teacher.

You can also find his work on his web site, http://www.DrDino.com

Here's a theory. Anti-deluvians(people before the flood) lived a really long time right? Plus they were really smart since they had not experienced as many generations of sin. So. It is possible that large reptilian herbivours that were created by God, could have been tweaked genetically by this race of incredibly smart and evil humans. Jeez, when I say it sounds fanciful and fake. But I don't believe God originally made animals to be carnivors, and I do believe that the antideluvians had the capacity to do those kinds of things. I hope my answer helps you to not be so bothered.

Gen.1:1,2;
How many years is involved here?
Gen.1:3-25;
This is preparation of the earth, the earth tells the story, our earth today would not make a dinosaur foot print. How many years are involved here? What is a day that at the time plant life is worked with onto perfection, there is times and season for it that man does identify with?

Job chapter 40 talks about a dinosaur called 'Behemoth'.It stands in the rushing river and is not moved .It eats grass (not a croc) it has a tail like a cedar tree(not an elephant or Hippo).It also talks about a sea serpent called Leviathan.

The dinosaurs were not allowed into the arc. They were left behind and all killed, I believe. In Genesis, it says that "there were Giants in the land in those days" or something to that effect.
