Sacraments are actions of the Church through which Jesus continues to minister among His people. Sacraments sanctify us and build up the Body of Christ.

Sacramentals are various actions or objects used in worship, or keeping us mindful of God, such as the ashes on Ash Wednesday, or holy water, or a rosary.

Sacramental -- instituted by the Church.
