yes, i would. & you're right, it is like a time-capsule nation. i have seen scenes of N. Koreans walking down the street & getting married, & it's like seeing a picture of the 1950s down there. they don't even have traffic lights & it's pitch dark at night. the problem is, many N. Koreans don't know what they're missing out on from the rest of the world... anyway, many people from S. Korea go to N. Korea as groups & go on tours to the famous 'Mt. GeumGahng'. i want to go there with my family someday.

Although I can't verify this, I've heard that it's possible to travel a bit into the DMZ area of North Korea. I'd definitely go if I had a chance -- as someone already noted, North Korea definitely needs the tourism money, and it would be fascinating to see the area. I'd love to visit Pyongyang if it were safe (and legal) to do so!

I guess it would be an intresting experience to go there cause im south korean and you could see how much culture has changed from isolating a whole country. the chance of being able to go there or been there is probably really low though since it is a communist country and kim jong il has tried very hard to prevent his isolation box to stop working

in case you have been South Korea, might you desire to reunify? think of how difficult it replace into for Germany to reunify. The East replace into very poor and decrease than developed, now multiply that with the help of a factor of a minimal of 30. The "great chief" will could desire to die first anyhow.

I don't think I would go. They have to many restrictions on their people. There are to many other beautiful nice asian countries to visit. Vietnam, Singapore and Taiwan to mention a few. Cheers

I would go there if I was able to and knew I would be safe there. As a white person I'm not sure if I would.

very few americans go to N.K but many europeans visit and enjoy themselves.
N.K. certainly needs tourist money.
Since i enjoy temples and martial arts
i'd like to visit N.K. but i've never found anyone who wants to travel there with me.
americans aren't too adventurous
