I don't believe in the big bang because the most recent information i saw on the big bang said that the universe spontaneously formed from nothing, initially being nothing more than raw energy that condensed into matter and anti-matter and matter in just off of a 1:1 ratio. The thing is, that theory is basically what happens in the Genesis account without God speaking. So why would i change my theory that works and makes sense to me and covers all the bases when the best alternative is faced with an interesting paradox: matter and energy are interchangeable, but how can you get one without the other? I will admit there is the whole pre-God Q, but I have an answer for all plains of existence not just the physical with the God theory. With big bang i get a gig open hole for the start of the physical, and no acknowledgment of any other level of existence.

Because it is just speculation. There is no science behind it.
Nobody observed it. It cant be demonstrated. Nobody has come up with a way to falsify it. It is mere speculation.
I can speculate that the entire universe was once composed of hydrogen. This hydrogen coalesced into bodies which were proto galaxies. Within these proto galaxies, solar systems formed around what became stars.
See how easy it is? Doesn't it sound scientific? Well, it's just BS, exactly like the Big Bang.

I think it is completely irrational to believe that things just hit together and out of that was formed what we know as the world today..
The world is formed way too perfectly for sustaining life, not to mention the beauty of the world to have not been designed by a wonderful creator.

But I do believe in the Big Bang---in fact we can now still measure the micro waves it produced.

I am Christian. I personally believe in the big bang, as my interpretation of the Bible allows Genesis 1:3 to describe it.

It's the LOUD voice calling you from "behind".
Get thee "behind" me Satan should ring a bell.
John turned, to what was "behind": Revelation.
Allegorically it's as if saying Law(D-evil) is Dung.
And we all "know" what to do with "sh-it": flush it.
Both Biblical literalism & Human secularism are dead ends.
POINT: Grace is neither of two laws in Mt 22: 36-40.
POINT: Us-ward is neither of two thems in Heb 10:39.
POINT: Above a servant is neither of 2 servants in Rom 6.
"Be no more children" is neither of two children in Rom 9.

The level of deceit increases as you go on unto the end,
much like any virtual reality game or any old video game.
The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

I see by one of the answers that they expect me (as a Christian) to say that something can not come from nothing), and they would be right. FOR ALL YOU SCIENTISTS OUT THERE....THAT IS YOUR FACT, NOT MINE. In man's realm, something can not come from nothing. So where does that leave us? To me, it's God...or the life force....or the source of energy..whatever you want to call Him (it). Only something that is not subject to the laws of physics could create something from nothing. I know it was not a human being...we can't do it. Logic tells me then that it has to be someone that could.
