It doesn't seem like you are bipolar because it doesn't sound like you are having any manic episodes. My guess is that you are suffering from depression. I would talk to your parents, or your guidance counselor about seeing a psychiatrist so he can prescribe you some anti-depressants, or seeing a therapist and trying to help your depression that way.

It is possible you're bi-polar or suffering from depression. Maybe you should schedule a complete physical with your doctor. In the meantime, there are two things that always help me when I'm feeling blue -- exercise and helping others. Exercise is great and easy to do. You don't have to join a health club either. You can walk, bike or get some fitness DVDs to use at home. Helping others is also good because it takes you out of yourself and makes you focus on someone else for a while. Fortunately, there are lots of places that can use volunteers. I volunteer on the weekends at our local humane society. It's a no-kill shelter and I walk and bathe the dogs, clean the cages and brush the cats. Volunteering would also be a good way to make some new friends. I really do emphasize though that you get a complete physical in addition to all of this.

I can't believe someone would tell you to commit suicide on here! Listen, you aren't worthless, there is always something to live for. Friends, girlfriends, etc...don't make you into a person. You have to be your own person. As hard as it might be, try to find a good interest that keeps your mind off things. Try not to think about depression, therapists, bipolar, etc...you will only feel worse. Walking, sunshine, reading, hobbies will all help. Maybe a myspace profile to get yourself socializing. Hope this helps!

you sound pretty young. From your question, i believe that your low self esteem is causing you to be lonely and depressed and thats understandable; its part of growing up but it doesnt have to be this painful.
Find someone close whom you can trust reliant and talk to, hopefully a parent, a sibling, a relative, a counsellor, a therapist, a neighbour, just anyone and confide in your problems; bottling things up aren't healthy its always good to have a close emotional intimate outlet.
Start taking good care of yourself, make sure you sleep right, eat right, dress and groom yourself appropriately so you look attractive enough (which jacks up your self esteem by notches)and take care of yourself pyschologically and emotionally. Remember those things that causing you to be negative and feel depressed are merely THOUGHTS and thoughts can't hurt, its just a matter of perspective and perception.they're not reality. Watch how and what you think and its important not to overthink, worry unncessary about worthless insignificant stuff.
Next, start socialising and being out in the world!you're part of this society and there's no reason for you to shut yourself out! Start talking to random people, smile, be friendly warm outgoing and genuine and be geniunely interested in people. Start opening up! Go to social events join clubs talk to people and don't coop yourself up! you'll realise that by being yourself and being friendier you'll gain new friends and people who can really connect and befriend you!

dont pay attention to all that bi-polar, depression crap! u have to get your mind right first! even if u take medication! i used to be depressed too, took anti-depressant pills.... the whole works.
What eventually worked for me.... One day I prayed to God and asked for him to turn me around....no more sadness, no more being alone. I wanted to be happy with MYSELF.... cuz once u love urself, so does everyone else!!!! TRUST ME!
So NO MATTER WHAT.... think positively, cuz ur life is what u make it! everything u think....WILL HAPPEN! this was about a month or so ago.... now i cant stop the phone from ringing, the opportunities from rollin' in, etc.!
Its all in your head! Convince yourself, soon everyone will be convinced too.... then it will become your reality!
GOOD LUCK SWEETY! email me if u need to talk! being depressed sux! I'd hate 4 anyone to feel like i used to. the way i feel now.... is amazing! i hope u find ur good ju ju! ;)

I dont think your bipolar but it sounds alot like you have depression. I definately recommend that you go to a doctor and tell them how you are feeling so they can get you some anti-depressants and some therapy. I'm on an anti-depressant called cymbalta and it really helped alot with my depression. You should try getting to know people joining clubs or organizations, go out on blind dates, exercise, have fun, go to church, pray more, get closer to God, enjoy life. Try spending time with your family and definately talk to someone about how you feel. Depression is a disease and should be taken seriously.

It is possible ther is a chemical imbalance that is causing your depression . the only way to get a professional opinion is to see a doctor in person not on Yahoo! answers. It seems excessive tha tyou can go a whole week without saying a word. Exercise is one way to balance your hormones naturally, as is eating well and taking care of yourself. See a doctor.

First of all hunny I'd like to say that who ever Carol is ,,, needs to go blow her brains out, momma always said if you ant got nothing nice to say don't say nothing, i guess her momma just didn't teach her manner's. But on to your problem ,, I'm sorry you fell so bad, i feel the same way sometimes, but it always passes, one good thing to do is when you start to feel that way, go out, doesn't matter where,, anywhere,, for a walk, for a ride, just go,,, the fresh air does wonders. i love to walk myself, but if all that you try doesn't help maybe you do need med's. my doc. says i have major depression and will have it for the rest of my life, but all the med's i have tried haven't worked, so i do what i can to keep from getting so sad, don't think about things that will make you that way. i know that sounds stupid, but when you start to think about it to much it gets worst, i personal just do things to keep my mind off of it, my favorite is walking and the next favorite is talking on this stupid computer,,, lol,, i know i may not have the best answer but i felt your pain and wanted to let you know what i do for my pain.
