What kind of perm did you get...because most perms straighten out the hair...

You need to call the salon back today or first thing tomorrow. I hope you mentioned to your hairstylist that you were dissatisfied with the service before you left. Did you tell the stylist that you expected more curl? Either way, you need to call before you do anything to your hair. It's not unreasonable of you to expect curls when you pay for a perm. There are lots of reasons why it's not as curly as you expected, for example: not enough tension on the rods; perm solution left on too long or not long enough; incorrect formula for your type of hair; too much hair on each rod; etc. The list truly can go on and on. You need to go back and let the stylist and/or the manager see your hair. They will much prefer to make it right than have you telling every soul you know that they don't do good service. It's possible that the stylist just underestimated since you have some natural wave and expected your hair to take a bit easier than it did. If that's the case, it's easy to fix. But, you should either get satisfaction by way of a perm you like or get your money back. Good luck

I have had 4 perms and mine always curled but if it didn't I would not wash it and go back to the place that you got it done and make them redo it. Make the do the perm a different way because it might not take one way but take another and tell them to try a different perm solution. They should always check a piece of hair to make sure that the perm is taking.

well if u got your hair done professionally u need to go back. Your hair should have curls. The reason why its not curly is because they didn't leave the solution long enough or didn't put enough on.

it depends on alot of things, what size rods did they use? do you have color on your hair? is it fine or thick, coarse or medium? it's hard to tell without looking at it. but if you are not happy DO tell your hairstylist as soon as possible don't mess with it too much,I'd hate to have them tell you that you messed it up. it is not unreasonable to ask them to try and fix it,give a conditioning treatment or give you your money back. you may need to be very insisting and let them know that you are unhappy.you payed good money and deserve to get what you payed for. good luck!!
