Hey Jon.

Only a few know..... most don't want to know.....

We just need to find those who really have a good heart. except, it's not up to us to search hearts..... It's up to us to try and teach.... leaving the heart searching to He who can do it properly.

Mike

Most people would say it's a mystery because we can't really explain it. But the way I see it, is that God made us to see if the love He gives us, is given in return by us.

God is just equal to love, he forgives us and still loves us after we betray him.

There are other people who prefer to believe there really isn't any God, but how could you explain the existence of a never-ending universe? Just boom happened? God created us and everything else.

Oh and the Bible tries to teach us almost every important aspect with metaphors or short stories so we can understand. The Bible says that God is the creator of Heaven and Earth.

The bible is a means to control people. It is all mythology. Just like any other religion. Think about it, if your religion was real, why would there be a thousand different religions? THe more questions you ask about god, the more you will find it is all make believe. But, if it makes you happy, stay the coarse, just keep asking questions.

Interesting phrasing of the question! I usually hear this as "mans purpose" or "my purpose" The earth's purpose would be to thrive and prosper in its natural state and not be destroyed by man! Which brings us back to the first question! Our purpose: Learn how to love one another unconditonally. Peace!

The Bible teaches that Earth is
a stairway to Heaven.

I believe that creation is God
expressing Himself.
No Earth, no people, no dreams,
no change.

God's purpose is the bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of his children, us. He has provided this earth as the place where we can prove our worthiness, but living in faith and in believe in him. We are living a mortal probation here and some day will return to live with him again, if we are righteous and follow his paths.

What if there is nothing. I mean absolutely nothing at all after death. What if all the things related to religion, belief, spirtulality, etc. is all an invention of man? A coping method in order to cope with the darkest fears of death; there will be nothing beyond it.

Im not saying thats my opinion, but what if?

The concept of god is used to give hope, yet also take it away.

It can give someone hope that good will eventually come.

It can also cause fear, hatred, and is used to control the believer.

Overall, religion is used as a tool. The crowbar to the people's will so to speak.

how about you read it. read revelations and mark, etc. he loves us so much he sent his only son as a sacrifice so that we may be forgiven of our sins and have them washed with his blood, so that we can be saved through repentence and constant walking in grace. his destiny for us is to be saved and be with him by choice to have eternal life. and when jesus comes all sin and rebellion will be put down and the righteous will truly inherit the earth and have immortality.
