You are very right. People ignore it because it would mean giving up some of the comforts we have come to enjoy. People are all about the now.

The human contribution to global warming is around 3% of the problem. Our planet is warming because the sun is putting off more heat. Evidence points to this because the ice caps on Mars are also melting. I highly doubt humans are causing that. The sun is, in fact, putting off more radiation than before which is contributing to higher temperatures on earth. If you look back just two hundred years the earth was still in an ice age. It is technically called a "mini-ice age" but it was an ice age nonetheless.
The whole solar system is heating up because of the sun which is going through a natural phase. The sun heats up. The sun cools down. No doubt human pollution is providing some of the problem but not all of it. The main pollutant put out is carbon dioxide. Interestingly enough plants use carbon dioxide as food. The more food that is available the more growth you will see in plants. And this is true as the earth is producing more and more food than ever before. The problem lies in the massive deforestation of the earth. As we cut down more trees we have fewer trees making oxygen and absorbing carbon dioxide.
But now, humans are not the MAIN cause of global warming. That dubious honor goes to our friend the sun. Though we are contributing some to the effect but not nearly as much as those "scientist" would have us believe.
By the way, these are the same people who want to move the world into a one world socialist government headed by the UN. They are also the same people that want to forcibly reduce the earths population by 50% or more.

People are sheep, science shows that the wobble effect of the moon moves the plates under the ocean and causes earth to warm and cool. They have traced this for centuries, mini ice age and warming trend. The same with polar ice cap because of earth wobble it moves the axes slightly and can change weather patters.
Use common sense if global warming were true and we caused this, there is nothing that can be done to change anything, it has been reported that a Jet flying across Canada puts emissions as great as all the cars for one year. That is one trip in a jet, if this really was our cause then we would be extinct all ready. This is just a liberal way to make you do what they tell you and it will become bigger government and must higher taxes.
We should protect our borders that can really hurt us all and leave this to the science that is truthful.

The broad consensus among climate scientists is that climate change is occurring and much of it is probably due to human activity. All the scientific bodies that deal directly with this issue are in agreement on this. There are some alternate theories, but they are very much in the minority.
Some will point out that it has been warmer in the past. The cretaceous for example. This is not in doubt. But the point is this change will affect growing zones for crops and sea levels and weather patterns. The point is this change is going to be relatively rapid.Even if we stopped adding greenhouse gasses to the atmospher now (not a possibility), it would be years before temps stopped climbing and decades before they dropped past presentl levels. At the time of the cretaceous the sea were hundreds of feet higher than now. This is not a good thing.

Saying global warming is natural is incorrect. Here's why.
There is a huge body of scientific data and analysis supporting the main things about global warming. It was produced by thousands of scientists working independently around the world. It all says the same basic things. Global warming is real, it's caused by us, and it presents an extreme danger to our well being.
The idea that 99% of the climatologists in the world are wrong, neglect obvious natural causes as possibilities, or fake the data to get money, or engaged in a massive environmentalist conspiracy, is just ridiculous.
Denying global warming in the face of this is like denying evolution, or that we went to the moon, or saying you have a perpetual motion machine. It's not scientific. It's an "evil conspiracy" theory that has no basis in fact. Major Republican political leaders, including McCain and Bush, accept global warming as real. They don't get their science from Al Gore, they get it from the best scientists in the world. They've heard all the arguments on the other side, and they don't buy them. The US military is seriously making plans for dealing with worldwide chaos, if we don't reduce it.
The data disproving the alternative theories is all over the web. Here's one place where a little of it is collected:
http://info-pollution.com/warming.htm#WEB
Here's the accepted truth about global warming, with major data backup, and having gone massive review. It's actually very conservative, the majority of scientists think global warming will be worse. But this is what thousands of climatlogists all accept as true.
http://www.ipcc.ch/SPM2feb07.pdf
One example of the incorrect arguments. Solar variation. It's disproved by data that has been measured extensively, repeatedly, by various means, in various places, by various people, and is well accepted. Do people actually think climatologists would not consider solar radiation? Or that it isn't routinely measured?
Solar variation amounts to 0.12 watts per meter squared. Man caused heating is 1.6 watts per meter squared. More than ten times as much. I'll cite one source, but there are many.
http://www.ipcc.ch/spm2feb07.pdf
Page 4.
It's understandable why some people deny it. It's similar to other things they (generally conservative) hear from people they don't like (liberals and environmentalists). It's scary because it demands that we work hard to reduce its' effects. Some people see conspiracies everywhere.
But global warming is reality. Denying reality is done all the time by people who simply don't want change. It's a very human thing. But it's a very dangerous way to live.

the call continues to be out as to the rationalization for international warming. The info which helps the countless camps of world warming, IE. organic happening cycle, CO2 emissions, photograph voltaic interest, at the instant are not yet adequate to grant us conclusive info. that's silly to handle the undertaking via the very high priced relief of carbon emissions that interior the tip will purely grant an exceedingly marginal distinction in temperature. the fee being a relief ahead expenditures via out the international hurting the international's unfavorable the main. international governments are wiser to pursue a direction of extra learn and technologies progression particularly than putting limits on carbon emissions now,

No. Global warming happened before human kind. Even Gore doesn't really believe in this. That is why he doesn't save any energy an pollutes a lot more than 22 average Americans. Gore says that it's OK because he purchases carbon credits so that he is carbon neutral. Surprise surprise, he purchase those credits from himself! He scares people about global warming and creates a company that people can send money to so they can feel better. Your reasoning about us killing so many wildlife is absurd. More wildlife died before man than after. It takes a liberal to blame man for killing the dinosaurs off. The ice caps melted before and will freeze and melt again. Volcanoes pollute more than man. So do forest fires and without man there would be a lot more big forest fires. No one wants to breath polluted air but cars are nothing. Don't you know that fungus produces CO2 as well. Don't buy into this false religion of global warming. I hope you now get it. If not then think about this, global warming is a lot better than global cooling. Another Ice age would kill more wildlife than warming because plants wouldn't grow.

The fact is mother nature has it's own mechanism I agree but this mechanism by nature is a gradual and slow pace of course.
This gradual pace of warming cannot be ruled out, but at the same time this pace of warming is highly accelarated and magnified enormously by the activity of humans.Shortly when warming by nature would take a gradual process of 7 to 8 centuries humans have made that to happen by half century or one century time period.
An immense performace and speedy performance shown by human beings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There's no proof man can even effect the climate so its hard to believe we do. Unless you believe a consensus proves it then you'll also believe the world was flat at one time. Oh and Mars has global warming too. How many humans with there SUVs do you think there are on Mars?

cause there daffy and they figure that if they can put out info about that its not peoples fault that people will belive it and some will i think it is i dont see a interconnected bike trail arround the us i see new roads being built with curbs that you have to look like skelatour to squeeze thru them cause there is no shoulder and it just goes to prove when the snows piled high on the pedestrian walk that the people who walk are less important there is a big bilboard that says go for a sunday walk but across the street the snows piled up past knee high and good luck when you think pedestrians have the right of way cause people will barrel by you like you dont know
