I just got a new puppy. She is a tiny white chihuahua with very light tan markings surrounding her eyes. I'm trying to think of names for her, but I don't want to name her real people names and I don't want to name her something stupid like "Princess". I just introuced her to my 4 year old terrier Peewee, and I was thinking Dottie might be an appropriate name to go with him.

to potty train her get some potty training pads they work great. Chihuahua's are not like other dogs you have to treat them as if they were a child. you can find a lot of info on http://petster.com there was a little boy that lived next door to me and his nick name was peewee one of my puppy's loved chasing and playing with him so much i named her sweet pea my 2 Chihuahua's i have now are named Evajo and GG but here is a small list of some of my dogs.

Eva,GG,
sweet pea,
rusty,
peanut,
champagne.
Nikki
sheba
keitsha
the best way to name your dog is just sit back and wait and watch the dog she will do something that will help you think of a name.

Dottie is great..........!!! love it.... but from experience...my mother was a Vet and a dog groomer, has been around k's of dogs.... introduce slowly and put both into obedience class, $60 or so..........but worth the life time of the animal...also, vet checks and good food, atleast Purina, doesn't have to be Eukanuba.... bedtimes, (just like children) and put up their food and h2o after 6 to avoid accidents........
best of luck 2 u

take her out to potty the first thing in the morning, last thing at night, and after every time she eats- she should eat small amount 4-5 times a day as she is still so small... and shady as in sunshades might be cute!! Please dont be mean and "rub her nose in it" -all that teaches her to do is run and hide if she has an accident...
