Western Dental Gets Star Treatment on Hispanic Television

Western Dental is prominently featured in a special series of children's dental health segments currently airing on Hispanic television station XEWT-TV, Channel 12, throughout Greater San Diego and Tijuana, Mexico. The segments, called "Sonrisa Sana," are being broadcast over 10 consecutive weeks as part of XEWT-TV's popular and long-running bi-national "Kids Club" show. Featured are the Kids Club boy and girl hosts, the show's popular mascot, "Tebeo" the mouse, and Western Dental's own life-size tooth mascot, "Pearly White." Appearing in each segment is Dr. Omar Arreola from Western Dental's Chula Vista office, who provides tips on brushing, flossing and good oral hygiene and helps children feel more comfortable visiting their dentist. XEWT-TV, one of the largest Televisa-owned stations in the country, also has been promoting the segments though mentions on its highly rated morning show and elsewhere.
