yea, one of you has to make a move and start acting like your actually dating. I had the same problem; It is hard because you've been friends for so long that it is weird to act different now but it has to start sooner or later. One of you has to get over there shyness and make a move and slowly it will start to feel less weird, trust me.

ive been in this situation once, and it turned out the same way. it turned out that we knew each other too good as friends and so still acted as friends. we broke up because we just couldnt see each other as more than that, friends.

its always good to meet someone new.

but it works in reverse. this girl i just met, we talk all the time and shes in 2 of my classes at school, we just met but people ask us all the time " are yall dating" and "yall should date, its such a cute couple"

I think it's just shyness. You both are shy, but you could try and go out on another date, and try and slip your hand into his, and hold it tight. It shows that you really like him. You're not used to this dating stuff, and neither is he. Just try and hold his hand, and talk to him about his past, something like that. Show that you're concerned if he had any problems in his life.

There is nothing wrong with ya'll. I'm sure your relationship will move forward, but don't rush it. You can make the first move.
