My dog has started acting weird today. She got accidentlly pregnant about 2-3 months ago (i know it usually takes 2 month.) and she was about 8-9 month old. (i know she's pregnant because her niimples are getting huge, her boobbs are getting fatter, and so is her belly.) Today she was very tired, she wouldn't eat anything but a bit of treats, and she would not stop panting, winning, and shaking since this afternoon. does any body know what's going on?

thanks you for your help!! :)

She is going into labor! Have you made her a nice place to have her puppies? A large cardboard box that she can lay down in and has room for the puppies would be nice. You can cover it with plastic and tape the plastic to the bottom so it doesn't get dug up. Than you can cover that with an old sheet (flannel is great) or any type of material that will cover the entire area. You don't want puppies crawling underneath what you use so it should also either be taped down or what have you so that no puppies can get lost under the covering. Have you gotten your supplies? Towels, scissors, (I like to keep some calcium on hand either liquid or pills) a sucking device etc., (you can improvise). I also use a heating pad and make sure it is safety pinned completely closed so no puppies will crawl in there and cook or be lost.

Here are some sites to help you along bellow the last one has links to videos:

Labor....63 days gestation.....if she doesnt have a puppy in the next 12 hours I would see a vet! Make her a bed of newpaper see if she starts shredding it....keep her calm....she may want you to stay close to her.
