I have what is called a hypnofetish, meaning I get aroused when I see an attractive person being hypnotized. It's not the mind control aspect, I just like the induction, watching the eyes close and seeing them drift off. I am fine with other sexual stuff and am turned on by normal stuff (aside from this) so..my question is why am I so messed up and should I seek help or is this just harmless. Like...I don't care about the actual hypnosis...I just like the eroticism of the "you are getting sleepy stuff" what should I do. Thanks.

Well, as long as you don't go around trying to hypnotize people or breaking into hypnotherapists' office, then it should be okay. One possible reason why you might get aroused by such things could be the power aspect that comes with hypnosis. You mentioned that it's not the mind control aspect, but the very possibility of having someone under YOUR power, under YOUR spell is a very potent thing. The eroticism of someone giving themselves willingly to someone else could just be a thirst for having someone under your control. After all, that's why Dracula is such a powerful and sensual novel.... he could put women under his spell with just his eyes and voice...
