I'd say it depends on your age... but I've never been fond of plain old mustaches... with a beard attached, well that's another story, but just a mustache, no. Obviously, you're going to get varied answers on this though, as some people like mustaches & some people don't.

ONLY if it will come in full. I personally find it distasteful to see a guy with a few straggly lip hairs (like a 15 yr old boy). A good idea is to grow in the 'stache with a goatee, then shave the goatee when the moustache is at a good length. If you grow just the moustache in alone, it tends to look kinda dirty, but when you grow it out with the beard, somehow the shadow of hair on the chin evens out the effect. My dad has had a moustache since he was 22, and I can't imagine him any other way. It's a part of who he is. And frankly, I wish my hubby would grow a beard. He has a really strong jawline, and thick dark facial hair. He'd look great! He's come back from 10 day camping trips looking like a sexy lumberjack, and he shaves it as soon as he gets home, GRRR!

You do what you are comfortable with, what you like. A moustache with or without face fuzz ..... whatever makes you happy. And hopefully, the person you are interested in will like it also. If not, you deal with it, compromise, or decide if it's worth keeping the moustache or not.
If you have never had a moustache, then try it. If it turns out you don't like it, you can always shave it off.
My son has had a full beard and moustache since he was 17. He liked the look, keeps it trimmed and neat, and has never had a complaint by the female friends that were interested in HIM.
Good luck.

Im personally a fan of the 5 o'clock shadow, but mustaches are fine.

Myself, as well as most of my girlfriends dont much care for mustaches. Not entirely fond of getting our faces scratched with it when we kiss our guy. Also, it just makes some guys look really creepy or just... odd. I mean, it's definately something you'd actually have to try for yourself to be able to tell if you like it or not and look ok with it... but most girls I've spoken with all prefer a smooth face. Good luck.

Facial hair for men is a way that we can change our look, cover-up imperfections or give shading to cover bad jawlines. I see no reason in not giving it a shot.
I use the full facial beard to cover up my head. People scream less when I'm hiding it!

Ummm...no. Mustaches are outdated. If you really want facial hair..which I don't like to begin with (I find most women like a clean shaven, kissable face)...just get a goatee or something. :S
